Are we being the Church?

Are we being the church / 1 Corinthians 13:1–10; Romans 12:4–5; Acts 4:32–35

Are we being the church? In a world whose culture is lost and dying, how are we bringing the church into those spheres and having an impact. Why is the church loosing influence in our society? I submit that it isn’t due to wokeness or a declining moral compass, but rather the church not expressing Christ.

What do people see when they meet us?

The Church isn’t simply a building, but rather a living breathing organism. An organism made up of people, gifting, Kingdom dreams and Devine purposes.

We are not called to make the 4 walls the end all be all, but rather an expression of the love of God and the sacrifice Christ made on the cross. We are to be the embodiment of Christ himself Romans 8:9-11. 

We can talk every week about the prophetic, the power of prayer, our giftings, we can and should talk and grow in all of these areas, but as 1 Cor 13:1-10
