Sabbath

As Americans we are known as a productive nation. We are known as a nation that works long hours and take very few vacations. As we are in the throws of Summer and are spending more time outdoors and enjoying our outdoor activities. Whether it’s camping or fishing or many of the variety of activities that warm weather affords to do. Has anybody ever gone on vacation and returned just as tired as before you left. However, you created lifelong memories and got to do a lot of cool things, all while free from having to go to the office. However, do we actually rest? This is a question I have had to ask myself. My concern is that I have in many ways failed to seeking and experiencing true rest. 

Are or how are we observing the Sabbath?

Why does God place such a high value on observing the Sabbath?

If God saw it fit to rest, why is it so difficult for you to likewise. 

The Sabbath isn’t a choice we make, but rather a command we are to follow.
